Content and Overview

This introductory level course consists of videos and presentations totalling over 60 minutes.

This course does not require any prior knowledge of Business Ecosystems.

This course introduces the concept of Ecosystems, the definition of a Business Ecosystem, Components of a business ecosystem and ecosystem strategy.

On completion of this course, you will understand what an ecosystem represents in both the natural and business worlds

It also provides helpful hints and advice for business executives and students so that they can explore some of the theories and concepts as well as providing thought provoking questions about its applicability to a real-life business situation.

On successful completion of this course, you will know one of the latest buzzwords, widely used and misused in journal and industry articles.

We acknowledge that this is an introduction to Business Ecosystems. There will many different opinions on the definition and concept. It is an academic field that is still exploring the meanings and definitions and as such this course cannot hope to cover all viewpoints.
